Important Notice

NEW VISA PROCESS

In order to maintain a minimal waiting time to receive an appointment for a visa interview, effective April 18, all visa applicants in Monterrey will be required to complete a CEAC Electronic Questionaire via the Internet to register at an Applicant Service Center (ASC) prior to their interview at the Consulate General. The $26.00 fee for the service includes appointment scheduling, registration at the ASC, transmitting information to the consular section, photographic services as well as visa delivery, if approved. This pilot program began successfully last month at the U.S. Consulate in Nuevo Laredo. For more information on this new process please select New Visa Process.

For more information on non-immigrant visas, please select How to Apply for a Visa.

FOR NOW, H2 APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER THROUGH THE APPLICANT SERVICE CENTER.  THERE IS NO CHANGE IN PROCESSING H2 APPLICATIONS.

For appointment wait times please click Average Appointment Wait Time.
