Information for Travelers to Mexico

The Department of State’s Consular Information Program provides Country Specific Information to travelers including: the location of the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in the country, immigration practices, health conditions, minor political disturbances, unusual currency and entry regulations, crime and security information, and drug penalties.  If unstable conditions exist in a country, a description of the condition may be included.
