Emergency Appointments

Please do not request an early appointment if you have been recently refused a visa.  Early appointments are only authorized for real emergencies such as the death of a family member, urgent medical care (close family members only -- parents, children, spouse, brothers and sisters).  In the case of urgent business travel, accompanying family members will not be given early appointments.

Early appointments will not be granted for tourist travel.

First, you should request an appointment as outlined in How to apply for a visa before requesting an emergency appointment (if several family members are traveling for the same emergency, you should request appointments for each member).

Helpful hint:  You will not be able to request an emergency appointment if you do not already have a regular appointment date.

If you need to travel before your assigned appointment, please fill out the Application for an Emergency Appointment and select Monterrey for your interview location.
