 On August 20,2008 Consul General Bruce Williamson attended the ceremony honoring the Texan movie actor Tommy Lee Jones as the International Trajectory Award recipient of the fourth Monterrey International Film Festival which is taking place in the city from August 15-23.   The film festival is supported by Nuevo León Council for the Arts, the Monterrey City Government, the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University, as well as its official sponsors, Kodak, Apple, Panasonic, among others.  The festival offers a wide selection of short and feature films, showcasing Mexican, Latin American and International films, guest films and premieres, lectures and workshops.  The festival attracts important national and international press and media coverage.
