Visa Processing Fees to Change on April 13, 2012
Effective April 13, 2012, the Department of State will adjust visa processing fees. The fees for most nonimmigrant visa applications and Border Crossing Cards will increase, while all immigrant visa processing fees will decrease.

Monterrey, NL February 3, 2012 --- At a ceremony to mark the completion of the roof for the new U.S. Consulate General in Monterrey, John Brennan (Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs in the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City) and Nace Crawford (Consul General in Monterrey) symbolically attendedthe “topping out” of the new facility’s main building in the municipality of Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.
